The rethinking/redesigning of this site is continuing. I’ve been having altogether too much fun with a pad of my kids’ newsprint and a conte pencil. Witness:

For a variety of reasons, I’m rethinking this site. Reasons include:

• The desire to better show off my work


• Put some ideas to test


• Better pull together my various online activities

Wow, what a difference a camera makes! After humming and hahhing for more than a year, this weekend I picked up a Canon Rebel XSi with 18-55 and 55-250 image stabilized lenses. I’ve told my family to get used to seeing me with a camera stuck in my face.

Think it’s time to start posting again.

This weekend, my wife and I, along with about 50 friends, are celebrating 18ish years together. We’re calling this our “half life” party, referring to the fact that we’ve now spent half our lives together. 

I threw the invitation below together in about an hour, and I’m pretty happy with it. Thought I’d share!
